Activated Carbon Filter
The activated carbon filter consists of a carbon steel anti-corrosion/stainless steel tank, granular activated carbon filter layer (particle size 1-4mm, iodine value ≥800mg/g), dome-type water distribution system, and PLC control system. With a filtration flow rate of 5-12m/h, adsorption capacity ≥100mg/g, backwash cycle of 12-24h (adjustable), and water consumption of 3-5%, it features high-efficiency adsorption (removing organic matter, residual chlorine, pigments), low pressure drop (≤0.05MPa), and recyclability. Raw water evenly passes through the activated carbon bed via the water distributor, with pollutants trapped by the porous structure, and clean water discharged through the bottom collector. Periodic air-water mixed backwashing (intensity 15L/(㎡·s)) strips off contaminants. Widely used in drinking water advanced treatment (TOC≤2mg/L), industrial wastewater decolorization (e.g., dyeing wastewater), food & beverage algae removal, and RO pre-treatment, it adapts to organic pollutant purification needs in municipal water supply, electronics, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
