High-Density Clarifier
The high-density clarifier consists of a mixing zone (agitator), flocculation reaction zone (draft tube), inclined tube sedimentation zone (stainless steel inclined tubes), sludge thickening zone (sludge scraper), and dosing system, made of carbon steel anti-corrosion/stainless steel. With a surface load of 8-12m³/(㎡·h), sludge concentration up to 3,000-5,000mg/L, and treatment capacity of 50-2,000m³/h, it features high flocculation efficiency (reaction time 15-20min), 50% reduced footprint, and strong shock load resistance. By adding coagulants and polymer flocculants, suspended solids form high-density flocs that rapidly settle and separate in the inclined tube zone. Clarified water is discharged through the collection trough, while concentrated sludge is partially recycled for flocculation and partially discharged via the sludge removal system. Widely used in municipal wastewater pretreatment/advanced treatment, industrial wastewater turbidity removal (e.g., steel plant turbid circulating water, food processing wastewater), and drinking water algae removal, it adapts to high-efficiency solid-liquid separation for water with high suspended solids concentration (≤2,000mg/L).
