Ion Exchanger
The ion exchanger consists of a carbon steel/stainless steel tank, ion exchange resin layer (strong acid/alkali type), water distribution system, and regeneration device. With a treatment capacity of 10-1,000m³/h and ion removal rate ≥95%, it features resin exchange capacity of 800-2,000mmol/L, strong adsorption selectivity, recyclability (via acid/alkali regenerant), and operating pressure drop ≤0.1MPa. Raw water flows uniformly through the resin layer, where ions (e.g., Ca²+/Mg²+/heavy metals) are replaced by active groups on the resin, with purified water discharged from the bottom. When saturated, the resin is regenerated by reverse flushing with regenerant. Widely used in heavy metal removal from mining wastewater (e.g., Cu²+/Ni²+), boiler water softening in power plants, ultrapure water pretreatment in electronics, and deionized water production in pharmaceuticals, suitable for various cation/anion separation and water purification needs.
