Multi-Media Filter

Short Description:

The multi-media filter consists of a carbon steel/stainless steel tank, support layer (gravel), filter media layers (quartz sand + anthracite + manganese sand), water distribution system, and backwash device. With filtration accuracy of 5-50μm, flow rate of 8-15m/h, and working pressure ≤0.6MPa, it features large dirt-holding capacity (10-15kg/m³), low backwash water consumption (3-6%), and long service life (media replacement every 5-8 years). Raw water passes through the filter layers from top to bottom via the distributor, with suspended solids intercepted by graded media. Clean water is collected at the bottom. During backwash, reverse flow restores filtration performance. Widely used in surface water pretreatment (turbidity ≤1NTU), circulating cooling water purification, RO/NF system security filtration, and industrial wastewater advanced treatment, it adapts to solid-liquid separation needs in municipal, power, metallurgy, and chemical industries.
